Museum Greeter
Museum Greeters welcome guests to the museum and orient them to galleries. Hours are available Monday-Saturday in 2 to 3 hour shifts.
Docent
Docents share the story of the Oak Hill estate and the Berry College campus by acting as tour guides. Hours are available Monday-Saturday in 2 to 3 hour shifts.
Community Curator
Community Curators contribute to the ongoing care and upkeep of our museum collection. Hours are available Monday-Friday in 2 to 3 hour shifts.
Educator
Educators welcome young learners to the museum by assisting in the planning, preparation, and facilitation of educational programs and activities. Hours are available Monday-Friday in 2 to 3 hour shifts.
Senior Scholars Assistant
Senior Scholars Assistants cultivate a space for learning by greeting students, setting up classrooms, and assisting with program planning and preparation. Hours are available Monday-Friday in 1 to 3 hour shifts, and are perfect for those already enrolled in a course!
Event Support
Event Support helps make possible all special events throughout the year (e.g., Community Days, Mountain Day, Victorian Christmas Tours). Hours available as needed, usually after 5 PM and on weekends.

Why are you interested in volunteering at Oak Hill?

For the safety of the staff and guests of Oak Hill & the Martha Berry Museum, a background check will be completed for all volunteer applicants. All volunteers will also be asked to provide an emergency contact at their first shift.
